The Currie family, known on the West Coast of Florida for their success in the car business, has also been in the agriculture business for more than two generations.  In 2002 they purchased 450 acres of land in North Port, Florida and in 2003 Bill and Billy Currie along with Steve Watson developed the concept of a tree farm on the property.  Billy and Steve designed and built the now cutting edge nursery utilizing micro-irrigation, root manipulating containers and Florikan controlled release fertilizers.  In 2008 they joined the Roots Plus organization embracing the quality and ethics that are required of their members.

The knowledgeable staff at Currie Tree Farm and Landscape is trained to properly grow, prune and install trees utilizing the grades and standards of the Agriculture Department.  The nursery is continually expanding to meet the demand and high standards of the industry and customers served.
